Rachel Tillotson

Rachel is a BAFTA winning filmmaker with extensive short film &TV directing experience. She is currently in development with the BFI with her feature NOMI
Rachel has directed many shorts, each financed by a range of funders such as LFVDA, UKFC, Film Four, and Anglia TV. She’s sold internationally to many TV stations winning numerous awards, such as from Clermont-Ferrand, DePicT, The Royal Television Society (R.T.S), Brest and Encounters Festival.
Rachel won her BAFTA for the BBC drama OFFSIDE and won another R.T.S for Children's TV Series GIRLS IN LOVE by Jacqueline Wilson. She is predominantly interested now in writing from a female perspective.
A little about me.
I have always been passionate about inventing stories. I studied theatre at Bretton Hall College (BA Hons) in Yorkshire and went on to do a Masters in Film Direction from the Royal College of Art. I am a BAFTA Connect member and work part-time as a Senior Film Lecturer.
